Once Dr. Ronald Giometti completed his service as a family medicine physician for the U.S Army, he knew he wanted to open his own family practice to provide patients with the care and attention he would give his own family. He joined Carrollton Family Practice in 2000 and gained ownership in 2003.
Board Certified in family medicine, Dr. Giometti sees patients of all ages and has a special focus on preventive care and wellness. His long-time staff takes ample time with each patient, making sure all concerns and questions are addressed. “We are proactive in the way we approach patient care,” Dr. Giometti says. “Family medicine includes a wide range of needs, so we make sure our patients know we are here for them.”
Dr. Giometti chose the specialty of family medicine when he realized he enjoyed taking care of all different aspects of patient care, rather than just one singular focus. And as one of five children and having five children himself, he appreciates the importance of families, in particular, healthy families. He is a member of several family practice organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians.
